Weekly PS4 Trophy Round-Up (#1)

Dislaimer: This new series was going to be titled “Weekly Platinum” but Hollow Knight is still kicking my butt and I really didn’t want to settle and have my 25th plat be something I’m not extremely proud of. Even though the Hollow Knight Platinum is just two trophies away, I feel as though it may be some time before I’m able to finally achieve it. So, I decided to run through other games I’ve played recently that were sitting at pretty low completion percentages. Here, I give you my Weekly Trophy Round-Up!

The award for “Biggest Pain in the Ass” is a tie between Limbo‘s “No Point in Dying,” Little Nightmares’ “Hard to the Core,” and Hollow Knight‘s “Pure Completion.” Because of those three trophies, this weekend was spent nearly destroying televisions and controllers alike.

    • “DING!” – Running Off Will Get You Nowhere (Limbo, Gold)
  • Next Week’s Trophy Goals
    • I would really love to finally get that Hollow Knight Platinum. I only need to complete the Pantheons of the Knight, and Hollownest. I’m hoping that it seems daunting when approaching but easier after practicing like Arkham City‘s challenge rooms were, but I’m not so sure.
    • I’d also love to 100% games like Journey, Flow, Flower as well as get some easy Platinums in Virginia, Oxenfree, Unravel/Two, and work towards more difficult Platinums like Slain, Shadow of the Beast, and maybe even a little Doom.
    • Really, I’m just trying to get my average completion percentage to 81% for all games I own before I’m allowed to get anything new or play anything else. Hopefully this will force me to read some as well if I get sick of putting myself through Pantheons over and over again to varying degrees of failure.

Let me know your thoughts (especially if they have to do with beating Pure Vessel, Nightmare King Grimm, or Absolute Radiance in Hollow Knight) and if you have any good recommendations! As always, thanks for reading and I’ll see you soon.
